Cornerstone Food Pantry
Cornerstone’s food pantry is run fully by volunteers, and our monthly purchase of non-perishable food and toiletries is funded by people in the community. If you would like to support our food pantry, either as a one-time or a monthly gift, please click on the donate button below. If you prefer to donate by check, you can make it out to Cornerstone Fellowship and send it to us at 1101 E. Colorado; please write “Food Pantry” in the memo line. We also are able to do a limited number of food deliveries to people who are homebound. Please call 217-402-2045 if you are unable to come to the Food Pantry in person and we may be able to arrange a delivery to your home in Urbana.
Who is it for?
Our food pantry is open the last Sunday of every month from 1:00-3:00. It is open to anyone, but our particular aim is to serve the people who live in our neighborhood. Many of our regular customers are elderly and disabled people from the surrounding subsidized housing for senior citizens. Because of their limited mobility, our church is ideally located for them. We also hand out free children’s books, provided by Orphan’s Treasure Box, and we pray with anyone who wants prayer.
All are welcome
